Departmental checks

The standard product for hypermarkets
Departmental checks with the following key data:

  • Appearance of the department from the inside and outside
  • Sufficient and well-organised stocking of goods
  • Compliance with arbitration plans
  • Appearance of the employees
  • Execution of the consultation or sales talk (additional sales, active sales promotion, quality of consultation)
  • Coping with varying workloads and at different times of day

The evaluations are prepared comparing the different stores. The overall results of the individual stores are included in a ranking, which can be clustered by sector.

Consumer Tracking and Counting

Visitor counts at entrances or exits:

  • Ascertaining customer frequency on a count basis
  • Identification of dropouts (visitors without purchase)
  • Identification of catchment area on the basis of license plate counting and evaluation

Consumer Tracking (In-Store Tracking):

  • Identification of catchment area on the basis of license plate counting and evaluation
  • Recording of different dwell times (shopping area, consulting, cashier, other)
  • Identification of typical movement and behavior patterns

Market-Scout offers these services by way of manual investigation methods as well as based on anonymized smartphone tracking and automatic image recognition (recording and filtering of customer movements).

Visitor survey

Visitor surveys, the standard product for supermarkets

We survey market visitors regarding their usage behaviour.

Survey content:

  • General usage behaviour (frequency, shopping budget)
  • Basic demographic data
  • Arrival and parking
  • Usage frequency of different departments
  • User expectations
  • Dropout behaviour (visitors without purchase are surveyed)

How we work

Protected data

Market-Scout retains personal customer data for a period of six months before it is pseudonymized. A longer storage period can be arranged upon request.

Documentation of deficiencies

If legally possible, any defects or soiling are photographed as well as documented in writing.
