Hotel and Guesthouse Check
The standard product for large and small accommodation businesses
Operation-based check of your property with the following key data:
- Reservation or booking process (different booking channels)
- Overall appearance of the property (inside and outside)
- Welcome and check-in
- Foreign language skills
- Dealing with special requests
- Appearance of the reception area
- Appearance of the room / apartment
- Smell, cleanliness, temperature and neatness in the room / apartment
- Check of the additional services on offer (ironing service, manicure set, room service etc.) optional:
- Check of common areas
- Check of the restaurant / bistro / breakfast (see also products for catering companies)
- Check of the wellness areas (optional)
- Limousine service / airport shuttle
For special „deep“ tests, guests receive an indivdual „story“ aligned to your desired parameters. This “story” defines the concerns or behaviours the tester should appear with. It also sets out the correct and incorrect behaviours which the tester can trigger in the tested person or process and subsequently evaluate. These can be simple stories, such as an allergy sufferer’s concerns about carpeting, a guest with unusual room expectations or a request for unusual or rare additional services. Additionally, we create individual stories specifically for your company, products and services.
We are also happy to test the operations of your competitors and create comparative evaluations of your company.
Airbnb Host Check
The standard product for private hosts who want to get to know their processes „from the outside“.
Object-related check of the apartment with the following key data:
- Booking procedure and communication
- Check-in procedure and foreign language skills
- Overall appearance of the apartment or room
- Cleanliness, arrangement, house rules
- Overall appearance of the host
- Personal impressions: safety, feeling welcome, atmosphere
- Dealing with complaints and objections
- Check-out
- Check of any additional services on offer
- Behavior in case of an individual „story“
And of course, our testers also write a review.
Check of a Cinema / Theatre / Leisure Business

- Reservation and ticket purchase

Visitor survey
Guest survey in the waiting or serving area of your property
We survey your guests directly during their stay or afterwards by email or preferably by phone.
Survey content:
- Usage behavior
- General impression
- Comparison to competitors, if applicable
- Satisfaction
- Potential for improvement
For our online survey our testers leave evaluation cards in various areas of your business, which can then be used by the visitors to complete the survey on a dedicated website.
How we work
Protected data
Market-Scout retains personal customer data for a period of six months before it is pseudonymized. A longer storage period can be arranged upon request.
Documentation of deficiencies
If legally possible, defects such as soiling, missing facilities or defective products are photographed. We never record personal information without the consent of your employees.
