Departmental checks

The standard product for hypermarkets
Departmental checks with the following key data:

  • Appearance of the department from the inside and outside
  • Sufficient and good stocking of goods
  • Compliance with arbitration plans
  • Appearance of the employees
  • Sequence of the consultation or sales talk (additional sales, active sales promotion, quality of consultation)
  • Coping with varying workloads and times of day
  • Reference to ongoing actions

The evaluations are compiled on a comparative basis, and the overall results of the individual stores are incorporated into a ranking that can be clustered by industry.

Consumer tracking and counting

Visitor counts at entrances or exits:

  • Determination of customer frequency on a count basis
  • Determination of dropouts (visitors without purchase)
  • Determination of a catchment area on the basis of license plate counting and evaluation

Consumer Tracking (InStore Tracking)

  • Record the movement patterns of visitors in the store
  • Recording of the different dwell times (sales room, consulting, cash desk, other)
  • Creation of typical movement and behavior patterns

MarketScout offers these services of manual investigation methods as well as based on anonymized smartphone tracking and automatic image recognition (recording and filtering of customer movements).

We survey the visitors of the market about their usage behavior

Surveyed:

  • General usage behavior (frequency, purchasing budget)
  • Basic demographic data
  • Directions and parking
  • Usage frequencies of the different departments
  • User expectations
  • Dropout behavior (visitors without purchase are surveyed)

If legally possible, detected defects or soiling are also documented photographically.
